Canada is a land full of opportunities and every year, thousands of aspirants apply for Canada permanent residence (PR) visa to immigrate to Canada for living, studying, or working in the country.

According to several studies, Canada is the most preferred country for immigration among people in the developing world such as countries in South Asia.
Canada PR visa comes with a validity of five years, and during these 5 years, you as a PR status holder can enjoy many benefits and privileges almost same as the Canadian citizens. The major benefits among numerous are:
Free education for school children
Free health care facilities
Unemployment benefit in case you lose your job
Host of benefits for international students and women
Old age pension
It’s a bitter truth that governments in developing countries are not as supportive of their citizens as the governments in developed countries such as Canada. The government in Canada largely works as a welfare state that strives to give a happy life to all its citizens.
The vast country has a small population which is in direct contract to India. Canada is three times the size of India in terms of land mass while the population is quite low. This results in an apparently high standard of living. You get access to all modern amenities combined with a clean and healthy environment.
Moreover, you become eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship after completing continuous stay of three years in Canada as a permanent resident. In a great boost to aspirants like you, Canada has set a target of accepting up to 1 million new immigrants as permanent residents by the year 2021.
Let us now talk about the major pathways for Canada immigration. In general, there are four main categories to get Canada PR, these are:
Business Immigration
Family Class Immigration
For each category, there is a set of eligibility criteria, application process and processing time. If you meet the eligibility criteria for any of the immigration programs and follow the correct step-by-step process, then securing Canada PR is an easy process. The process is given below:
